What is Graphic Design?

- Graphic Design is the most universal of all the arts. It is all around us, explaining, decorating, identifying: imposing meaning upon the world. In the streets it is everything we read, it is our bodies and our souls. Design is not just the finished piece, but the process itself. The Graphic designer is someone who is always making sense of their material, and mediating it through the forms and codes of visual language.
